Exosome Microneedling

Microneedling with exosomes is a cosmetic treatment that combines two techniques: dermo electroporation (DEP) and exosome therapy. Dermo electroporation is a non-invasive technique that uses electrical pulses to create microscopic pores in the skin to allow the transdermal delivery of topical skincare products. Exosome therapy involves the use of exosomes, which are extracellular vesicles derived from stem cells that contain growth factors, cytokines, and other beneficial molecules that can stimulate tissue repair and regeneration.

Exosome Microneedling

Who is a good candidate? Who is NOT a candidate?

How is the treatment done?
During a DEP with exosomes treatment, exosomes are topically applied to the skin and then delivered to the deeper layers of the skin using electrical pulses. The exosomes are able to penetrate deeper into the skin, where they can stimulate cellular growth and regeneration, leading to improved skin health and a more youthful appearance. Finally, they will apply a serum or gel containing exosomes to the treatment area to penetrate the channels made by the microneedling.

How long does it take to see results?
It is typically performed in a series of sessions for optimal results, with each session lasting around 30 minutes. This treatment produces impressive long-term benefits that will be seen up to six weeks after treatment. You may notice fewer fine lines and wrinkles over time. As the skin cells regenerate, you will see improved elasticity and firmness.

Why do the procedure/benefits?
This treatment is said to be effective for a variety of skin concerns, including fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne, and uneven skin tone and texture. When used with microneedling, exosomes can promote the production of new collagen and elastin. These proteins give the skin its elasticity and firmness.

How long is recovery? What does it look like? (Bruising, swelling, etc.)
There is typically no downtime associated with this treatment, and patients can return to their normal activities immediately after the treatment. However, patients may experience some soreness and redness immediately after the treatment and will be advised not to apply any products to your skin for 24 hours.
